Your mind may want something, but your body has its own wisdom. Here&#8217;s what I saw 1. Many repetitions of the same moves, such as pushups with jumps. Lots of yelling, probably for enouragement or motivation. All the performances I witnessed weren\u2019t of good quality, as participants appeared exhausted and struggled to maintain pace. Here are a few insights gleaned from those three observations You can achieve very good results by doing fewer repetitions through optimizing muscle engagement, particularly the deep muscles, which additionally support the skeleton and make it feel lighter! Unless being yelled at helps you feel upbeat, working without pressure doesn&#8217;t mean that your performance will be of lesser quality, it&#8217;s quite the opposite! Not respecting the limits indicated by your body is never a good thing. Your mind may want something, but your body has its own wisdom. It knows and will show you when your efforts become counterproductive. Personal conclusions Work on harmonizing the body and the mind if you want &#8220;WOW&#8221; results! Meaning: Let go of the controlling mind and observe your breath and your movements. If you feel tensions, lower the intensity of your effort and don&#8217;t fear not doing enough or doing it wrong.
